CYCEAB is dedicated to promoting excellence in child and youth care (CYC) education through a structured accreditation process. Our mission is to ensure the highest standards in post-secondary CYC programs across Canada by fostering accountability to children, youth, families, students, and the profession. We achieve this by conducting thorough assessments and reviews, fostering continuous quality enhancement, and collaborating with academic institutions and practitioners to address the evolving demands of the field. CYCEAB’s structure emphasizes collaboration with representation from educators, practitioners, and community members, ensuring that our work reflects the needs and aspirations of the broader CYC profession.
